The Newport Film Salon is a non-profit film organization located in Newport, RI.  We produce short films in and around Newport, Rhode Island.  We enjoy using local film talent while utilizing the area's beautiful landscape and unique landmarks as the backdrop for our projects.   

              What We Do

The Newport Film Salon (NFS) produces short films in and around Newport, RI.  The idea is to establish a common ground where those interested in filmmaking can meet, network and collaborate on both the artistic and technical aspects of the filmmaking process.

We enjoy this process and seek to share the experience with professionals and amateurs alike.  

We meet when we have a project to work on, and, as the opportunity allows, we sponsor workshops to help benefit the film/theater community.
